Teaching method
This curricular unit has duration of 14 weeks, with a total of 32 contact hours distributed by 2 hours (1 lesson) of lectures and 30 hours (13 classes) of practice. Practical lessons consist on the execution of practical exercises using a computer.
Evaluation method
In order to have a grade, students are required to attend a minimum of 10 practical classes. There are no provisions to compensate classes for students who do not achieve the minimum attendance.
Evaluation of student competencies consists of a practical examination where the student will have to demonstrate competencies on the utilization of a spreadsheet and of a relational database.
