Objectives
This curricular unit aims to provide more detailed knowledge on the most common pathologies of the musculoskeletal system. At the end of this unit students should demonstrate knowledge of the physiopathology of the most common clinical syndromes and ability to examine clinical data. The contents include pathology and physiopathology of the musculoskeletal system, ostheo-articular pain mechanisms, diagnosis and orthopaedic treatment principles.

· Study methods of the temporo -mandibular joint
· Childrens ostheo-articular system
· Treatment of fractures and rehabilitation objectives
· Orthopaedic treatment of shoulder conflict syndromes;
· Orthopaedic Treatment of lateral epicondyle pain syndromes;
· Orthopaedic Treatment o f the painful patellar syndromes;
· Orthopaedic Treatment of the knee ligament instability;
· Orthopaedic Treatment of the painful wrist syndromes;
· Orthopaedic Treatment of the spinal segmentar instability;
· Orthopaedic Treatment of the discopathies;

Assessment Methods:
- Multiple choice written Test of 1-hour length (100%).
To complete this curricular unit the students must have a classification of a minimum of 50% in the test.
