Objectives
This course aims to approach a set of molecular biology techniques for the analysis of proteins on a large scale, i.e. proteomics.
With this course it is intended that students become able to name databases of proteomics, clinical applications of proteomics and the instruments and techniques involved.
It is also intended that students acquire hands-on experience; become able to enumerate advantages and disadvantages of the employed methodologies and know how to evaluate the results from the application of different techniques of proteomics.
