Objectives
It is intended that students:
a) Know the different technological devices that support audiovisual production;
b) Are able to use the technology and its possibilities for audiovisual creation, considering formats and contents;
c) Are able to operate technological choices, considering the aesthetic, communicative and dramatic purposes;
d) Understand the methods of management and preservation of audiovisual equipment, particularly regarding the reasonableness of its uses.

Subject matter
1. Light: Properties, Nature, Models of representation of Light
2. Projectors, lamps and filters.
3. Cameras, Lenses and Filters.
4. Image, Film and Video supports.
5. Sonoplasty; capturing sound.

Teaching method
The classes will be organized in the workshop format. Practical classes will provide students with a direct contact with available technologies for audiovisual production.
These classes are articulated with operational and theoretical frameworks that enable the development of choices tailored to specific purposes.
Evaluation method
The evaluation will consist in creating and producing a 5 minutes movie (groups up to five students), two written assignments, presence and participation in practical classes.
