Objectives
a) To get a profound knowledge of the main subjects and issues from the Philosophy of Knowledge domain;
b) To be able to evaluate both from an internal and an external point of view different proposals;
c) To enhance the analitical faculty;
d) To practice the ability to read in a critical way some major philosophical texts;
e) To practice competences implicated in getting discourses and written texts philosophically consistent and relevant.
Prerequisites
None.
Subject matter
We shall read two major works of Denis Diderot (Letter on the Blind and Thoughts on the Interpretation of Nature, Manchester, Clinamen Press, 1999) in order to discuss the following issues:
