Subject matter

Based on the reading and confrontation of the Discourse on the Method and the Metaphysical Meditations, by René Descartes, this course combines the methodical interpretative and reflexive exercise with the introduction and preparation in the field of autonomous philosophical research.

- Reading and interpretation of the Discourse on the Method and Metaphysical Meditations, by René Descartes.
-Problems and requirements of philosophical research.

Individual evaluation. Class participation (objectives 1 through 5) and individual paper, subject to previous discussion with teacher (objectives 3 through 6).
