Objectives
a) Acquire knowledge about the different types of geomorphologic processes in the tropical regions, as well as their characteristics and actuation intensities;
b) Understand the dynamics and importance of the vegetation on the functioning of geomorphologic processes;
c) Understand the genesis of extreme natural events and their consequences in the tropics;
d) Evaluate the impact of human activities on the dynamics of tropical ecosystems;
e) Apply methodologies and specific knowledge on the analysis of the major landform units.
