Objectives
a) Acquire the capacity to understand the main tendecies of present day reserachj and the focal questions on the period to be studied
b) Develop an effective knowledge of medieval society through an understanding of their political, administrative, social, religious and cultural frameworks of Europe of the 12th to 15th centuries
c) Develop ability to analyze and criticize historical sources foreseeing their scientific use;
d) Develop the capacity of oral and written expression, mobilizing concepts and vocabulary belonging the medieval History
e) develop a critical and reflexive approach to historical events and problematics

Evaluation method
Assessment will be twofold: one will consist of two practical essays testing written and oral capacity of the students and their critical approaches to the subjects being studied ( 25 % each of the essays) , and a traditional written test ( 50%).
