Objectives
a) Identify the main cultural and processes and mental changes which developed in Medieval Europe (11th-15th centuries)
b) Characterize the main historiographic questions, interpretations and problems posed to Cultural History in general and the topics studied in particular
c) To get acquainted with the main bibliography and sources for the period
d) Develop oral and written skills, integrating in them the specific vocabulary and categories particular to the middle Ages
e) Acquire knowledge which enables the student to deepen his Studies in Medieval Cultural History and its mentalities.

Teaching method
Theoretical and practical classes (60% and 40% respectively). The theoretical classes will be based on lectures by the teacher. Practical classes will be of analysis and commentary of sources and historiographical texts on topics related to the subject matter.
Evaluation method
Assessment is done on the basis of 2 small essays (critical analysis and contextualization of documents (60%) and a written final exam, with consultation (40%).
