Objectives
a) Identify key regional areas in a geopolitical perspective;
b) Understand how the regional areas influence states foreign policy;
c) Understand the relationships established between different regional areas.

None.
Subject matter
a) Analysis of the main theoretical approaches;
c) Definition of key concepts of political area studies;
c) Analysis of the main geopolitical areas and the foreign policies of its major states.
