Objectives
The main purpose is to recreate among students a notion of mentalities, arts and culture in the Portuguese renaissancer, as well as in the western renaissance.
Prerequisites
None.
Subject matter
Spaces and places; home; body; the discovery of the body; food; women; the church; culture; the great Camões.

Teaching method
The teaching method is mainly reflexive and oriented to the contents of the curricular unit. Students will present and discuss key texts and documents (lectures (60%); class discussions and analysis of oral and written texts, presentation and discussion of student papers (40%).
Evaluation method
Two tests: one at the middle of the semester, another at the end of the semeste
