Objectives
a. To acquire the necessary competences for a good performance in writing and speech.
b. Training the making of na argument and the orientation amongst different arguments.
c. Training analysing skills, procedures and good manners for debating and confronting arguments both on written texts and live discussion.
d. To preserve and masters methodological procedures on literary inquiry.
e. To practice and expand specific skills for making an argument in the field of literary studies.
Prerequisites
None.
Subject matter
1. Writing and live discussion regarding the argumentation: the case of Socratic dialogue.
2. To write an argument, case studies: analyzing exemplar mistakes and flaws and learn how to avoid them.
3. Making an argument according to a given topic: exercises and collective analysis.
4. Making an argument in literary studies; truth, opinion, subjectivity. Impressionism ans its consequences.
