Subject matter
Modernity of cinema was born when its technique stpped beind transparent and was more importante than narrative. With neo-realism the plot has been substitued by History. A new reflexiono n cinema was also born. There is a clear cultural cleavage between West Cnema an East Cinema. On the first one, there is a relexion on the individual and its relation with the world but in the second one it is the cultural transmission that matters. New technologies are also an importante factor in contemporary cinema: expanded cinema and exposed cinema (in museums) or the performative cinema as the edition of found footage by Bill Morrison

Continous evaluation is also contemplated.
