Objectives
a) To recognize the importance of the knowledge about natural resources in territorial management.
b) To understand the distribution of the resources at different scales.
c) To apprehend the relations between natural resources and degrees of growth and economic development.
d) To evaluate the effect of the management and use of endogenous natural resources.
e) To analyze the positive and negative effect of the use of the different types of natural resources.
f) To develop and to apply the knowledge acquired from the diagnosis of the potentialities in terms of natural resources at different scales.
g) To interpret and analyse scientific articles and data.

1) Introduction to the concepts of resources.
2) The different types of natural resources and its spatial distribution.
3) The relation between natural resources and degrees of development.
4) Cause and consequences of the use of these natural resources.
5) The role of geographers in the diagnosis of the endogenous potentialities of the territory. 6) The sustainability of the use of the natural resources.
7) Future perspectives.
