Objectives
a) Understand the importance of Portuguese expansion in the overall process of globalization of human societies, implemented since the fifteenth century.
b) Ability to analyze and compare the various impacts of the Portuguese Expansion in several spatial and temporal dimensions.
c) Know the specialized literature on the subject and be able to find, identify and analyze appropriate sources.
d) Develop the capacity of oral and writing of research results, making it in a critical and original perspective.
e) Acquire knowledge to enable students to pursue in depth studies of the Portuguese Expansion in the context of global cultural history.
