Objectives
1. Understand the main concepts related to strategy, security and action planning; Identify and understand factors and constraints related to the use of means of coercion in political and strategic action;
2. Understand, through an evolutionary perspective, the relations of power among the different actors of the international system, specially focused on the issues of national security and defense.

None.
Subject matter
Teaching and learning contents will be focused on enabling students to:
1. Interpret and analyze the evolution of strategy and strategic thinking concepts;
2. Analyze and interpret the main geopolitical and geostrategic issues of todays international strategic environment;
3. Characterize and analyze the international system and conflict;
4. Caracterize a interpret the new risks and threats; the new security concept and the new conflict model;
Recognize the National Defense Strategic Planning.
