Objectives
1. Ability to mobilize the theoretical and methodological knowledge to formulate a research object;
2. Ability to manage the sequence of operations that contribute to formulate a research object;
3. Development of a critical attitude, leading students to be able to dismantle the social constructions that are associated with an object of study and sensitize them to the need for questioning and sociological construction;
4. Ability to use the sociological tradition and making the best use of formulas and of existing research models to define research goals;

Teaching method
1. The pedagogical contribution of the seminar articulates two kinds of contents:
Transversal contents
Specific contents of different areas of the MA course
2. The programming of these different contents is made according to the calendar available on Moodle.
3. The integration of different contents in the students´ work is made through individual tutoring.
Evaluation method
4. The assessment takes into account, with equal weighting, the process and the results obtained by students.
5. At the process level, we consider the investment made by students in order to approach the formulation of a
research object and its questioning from several points of view (theoretical , ethical , practical or technical ...).
6. The results will be evaluated taking into account the theoretical and formal quality of written assignments.
7. Written assignments are individual and must be submitted 72 hours prior to the oral presentation.
