Teaching method

The postgraduate seminars are both theoretical and practical with a strong interactive component on the part of the students. The practical component will include cognitive translation activities and their critical analysis; the discussion and comparison of short texts in the classroom; and individual as well as team work.

Evaluation method

Assessment will be ongoing, focussing on three main areas: 1) presentation and discussion of translations in the classroom (20%); 2) two tests (50%); and 3) an oral presentation of a final piece of written work (10 to 12 pages) (30%).
