The practical component includes oral contributions by the students and formal analysis of translation issues. The teaching methodologies will be mainly based on the following activities: practical translation work and critical analysis; discussion and comparison of texts in the classroom; and the carrying-out of individual and team work.
Evaluation method
Assessment will be ongoing, focussing on four main areas: 1) presentation and discussion of translations (30%); 2) two tests (30%); 3) presentation and discussion of a written essay (30%); and 4) oral presentation and discussion of the essay (10%).
