Objectives
- to learn the most relevant theoretical framings, in the context of the Language Sciences for different texual concessions;
- to delimit different objects of analysis (namely text and discours) according to different theoretical perspectives;
- to manipulate appropriately resources of linguistic analysis able to notice different plans of texts analysis ;
- empowering the students in terms of the options of analysis, in function of differentiated objectives
Prerequisites
None.
Subject matter
1)The texts: delimitation of the object of analysis; epistemological and methodological perspectives.
2) Text Linguistics, textual analysis of discourse and text theory: convergences and divergences.
3) Texts, discourses, genres specificities and interrelationships.
4) Macro and microlinguistic organization: description and analysis instruments.
5) Analysis of texts -issues of generic and linguistic variation.

Teaching method
The classes will be theoretical and practical and they will try to ally a reflection around the questions that Text puts, in way to confront actively the students with different text conceptions and with options of analysis caused by the different theoretical perspectives.
Evaluation method
Participation and oral presentation (on a text) 30%; work elaboration with structure to be conceived by each student and validated by the professor. This work will include a theoretical and methodological part and other one leaves from development of a subject (70 %).
