Objectives

At the end of this course, the student should be able:
a) to design a pre-project research
b) to produce reflections based on the appropriate course of inquiry in its early stages,
c) to demonstrate the ability to discuss issues and topics relevant to their research theme, involving themselves with reflexive capacity in argumentative debates in the context of the seminar sessions
d) to know how to write texts according to conventions and ethical rules prevailing in academia, demonstrating high ability to articulate ideas and theoretically substantiate their points of view
e) to be able to communicate orally their ideas and arguments in a clear and accurate before an audience
f) to choose and clarify the choices made, for a research design adequate to the aims of their PhD thesis.

1) An essay concerning a text chosen from one list proposed by the professor, presented and discussed in the classroom (20%)
2) Presentation and discussion in class of a research methodology text chosen from a list proposed by the
professor (20%)
3) Presentation of the research pre-project (20%).
2) Written research pre-project (12-15 pages). (40%)..
