Objectives
- To obtain an overall view of historical, political and cultural Anglo-Portuguese relations
- To obtain in depth knowledge on historical, political and cultural Anglo-Portuguese relations in the nineteenth century
- To foster intercultural interdisciplinary critical debate
- To get to know the location of the main primary sources concerning the subject matters to be studied
- To promote in depth problematizing research on the subjects to be studied, as well as on related ones so that groundbreaking research can be undertaken
- To be able to write an extended research project as preparation for a future thesis.
