Objectives
Acquire the knowledge necessary to identify the major current issues in education.
The student should be able to
a) Identify the major themes for research on education in Portugal;
b) contextualize these major issues in international research.
c) Identify the major theoretical frameworks and the different perspectives and approaches.
d) reflect autonomously from the issues and problems suggested by the cases analyzed either by teachers in classes either by own research and study.
