Objectives
a) To develop knowledge about the theories of management, organization and leadership in the field of education;
b) To understand and reflect about school as an educational organization;
c) To understand and analyse the role of the leadership styles and their implications for the school organization;
d) To know the state of the art in the field of research about school and other educational organizations and educational leadership;
e) To critically analyse and discuss literature about educational management and leadership;
f) To get to know the models of governance and regulation, including legal processes;
g) To know and understand analysis and evaluation methods;
h) To write sinthesis about topics of educational management and leadership and to orient discutions about thse topics, in a fundamented way;
i) To develop research competencies in this particular field.

Analysis and discussion of book chapters, journal papers and research projects about the contents of the seminar. Writing and presentation of sinthesis by the teacher and the students.

Contributions and participation in the seminar activities during the semester. Writing, presentation and discussion of a review of a scientific paper related with the contents of the seminar.
