Objectives

This course is intended that the student is able to:
1) Understanding the complexity of the various conceptions of the History of Ideas, through the confrontation with its multiple approaches.
2) Develop critical thinking on major trends in the History of Culture and simultaneously how to relate new concepts of the History of Ideas.
3) Seeing the contribution of the History of Political Ideas for a reflection on the importance of the History of Ideas in understanding the transformation of the political culture of modernity.
4) Reinforce the importance of the History of Political Ideas in the construction of identities and memories of the contemporary world, taking into account the complex relationship between past and present within the existing legal representations.
