Objectives
a) Provide students with competences to recognize the major sources of international law and their content.
b) Give students ability to understand how the international order is constrained by international law and how legal mechanisms are crucial for the stabilization of the international society.
c) Provide students solid knowledge of international law that will enable them to create of a framework of reference to understand international law and its future evolution;

Teaching method
1 Doctrinal lessons where the teacher present the syllabus. In these lessons the students are invited to participate by asking questions and making comments.
2- Individual presentations by students. In these sessions, the teacher will guide students in oral presentations, in simulations of hearings of the ICJ and in the resolution of case-studies.
Evaluation method
Students that regularly attend classes are evaluated by one test and by oral and written presentations (maximum of 15% of the evaluation).
