a) To be aware of the importance of the Roman heritage in the European civilization.
b) To acquire panoramic knowledge of the Roman Classical Culture.
c) To identify the Greco-Roman mental matrices of the Renaissance.

Lectures (60%); class discussions and analysis of oral and written texts, presentation and discussion of student papers (40%).
Evaluation method
The final evaluation consists of the arithmetic mean between the marks of the written essay and the final test, counting each 50%.
