Objectives
a) Being able to recognize the historical and cultural knowledge as a support for the intelligibility of the contemporary world
b) Acquiring critical insight into concepts and their transformation
c) Acquiring historical and cultural knowledge concerning the Portuguese-speaking countries
d) Developing a taste for the multi-disciplinary study as a means to understand cultural phenomena in the contemporary world
e) Developing notions such as cultural relativism
