Objectives
a) To acquire skills in the interpretation and analysis of scientific literature inEducational Sciences;
b) To understand the basics of research in Educational Sciences;
c) To acquire basic skills in the treatment of empirical data;
d) To acquire skills in writing research projects in Educational Sciences.

None.
Subject matter
Fundamentals of Research in Education. Problem Definition. Ethical issues; Variables and Hypotheses. Review of the literature; Quantitative and QuantitativeMethods. Sampling: Participants. Methods of data collection: Observation, Questionnaires and Interviews. Validity and Reliability. Data Analysis: Content Analysis; descriptive and inferential statistics. Automated processing of data: SPSS.Project Proposal Writing.

Teaching method
Theoretical exposition by the teacher. Class discussion. Exercises preparing data collection, data introduction and automated data processing.
Evaluation method
Drafting of a research proposal and a test on data processing. The students works are individual.
