Objectives
The MSc in Renewable Energy was created to provide students with training that leads, among other things:
* Contribute to the social and economic progress of the country to provide training in a poor area of provision of skills training.
* Contribute to the conversion and efficient use of energy, with a resulting increase in welfare and wealth then expected.
* Contribute to the preservation of the environment.
* Contribute to the development of renewable energies in Portugal.
Careers
Masters graduates in this area of knowledge will develop technical and scientific skills that will enable them to integrate tables of companies or organizations in the energy sector, aimed at:
* Selection, construction and maintenance of facilities and equipment for transformation of energy by conventional and renewable sources, including municipal and industrial waste.
* Distribution of electricity from production units.
* Selection, construction and maintenance of energy use.
The graduate students might pursue professional functions in industry, service sector and public administration, among others.
