Teaching method
The frequency of theoretical lectures is optional. Laboratory classes are considered mandatory. The theoretical part of the course in the classroom is done by using, blackboard, animations, pictures and diagrams in "data show", illustrated by the use of molecular models, representing different types of polymer molecular structures, and examples of polymer samples and prototypes. The support material presented in "data-show" will be made available to students.
Evaluation method
There will be 3 lab work related to polymerization reactions, characterization and application of polymers. The final grade (NF) is calculated from NF = (T1 + T2 + NL) / 3 or NF = (2E + NL) / 3, T1 and T2 represent the marks obtained in the 1st and 2nd tests, respectively, E is the grade obtained in the final exam, and the NL lab grade. The student gets approval to the discipline if: NL frequency, T1, T2 and E or above, 8 points; NF value greater than or equal to 10.
