Teaching method

Theoretical classes are presentation of the themes by the Professor. Theoretical-practical classes are learning and practice of computational methods for the analysis of the drug-protein interaction. Practical classes are presentation of group seminars about a drug or family of drugs, of choice by the group.

Evaluation method

Practical evaluation (30% final grade) based on the presented Seminar as well as on questions made to colleagues during the discussion period of their Seminar presentation.

Both the theoretical (40% final grade), and the theoretical-practical evaluation (30% final grade) will be by two written tests; or, in case of an average classification in the tests below 9,5, by a recourse exam.

The recourse exam (70% of final grade), can be used by students that had an average classification in the tests below 9,5; or by students that want to improve their final grade (in the latter case, the student must register and pay the due fee). This exam will include only the theoretical (60% final grade) and the theoretical-practical (40% final grade) evaluations. The theoretical-practical evaluation will focus equally on the three themes approached during theoretical-practical sessions.
