Teaching method
The teaching method includes a 2 hours weekly Theoretical-Practical (TP) class. Students receive the information by audiovisual means, specially computer slides, and oral explanation of concepts/models.
Although this information is enough to the defined objectives, it is available an additional list o references. Students may use a forum (at Moodle platform) to discuss and ask questions. Email and private telephone of the lecturer is available during all the term period. Continuous evaluation consists (1) problem resolving at TP classes, and self-assessment, allowing students to continuously assess their level of knowledge, (2) 2 lists of problems for practical training, (3) 1 final test.
Frequency is required: attendance to at least 2/3 of TP classes (unless if employed student or with frequency from previous year). Exercises lists only question sufficient or insufficient frequency. Students are able to go to a final examination when they do no obtain continuous evaluation.
Evaluation method
a) Frequency: All students have "satisfactory" in frequency classification for allowance to examinations, as it is not compulsory the presence at the classes;
b) Approval from continuous evaluation: It will be approved from the continuous evaluation system who will obtain 9.5 in a scale 0-20, as an average from 3 tests to submit during the semester
c) Examinations: Examinations will be performed to those who will not obtain approval by continuous evaluation or, when obtaining it, will are interested in getting it better.
