Objectives
The aim of this project is to initiate students in different research areas. This project can include the characterization and preservation of a work of art by means of different analytical techniques appropriated to each case. Students can also choose to study the degradation and/or deterioration processes of different materials in a cultural heritage (e.g. glass, ceramic, textile, pigments, plastic, wood, stone, and metals). The study of innovated conservation techniques for conservation and production of artistic works used in the past is another area of this Project.
The research made during this Project will contribute to the Master thesis.
