Teaching method
In the lectures is presented the concepts, of the various topics that are part of the program of this course. For each topic, wherever possible, is given concrete examples of the field of Biomedical and Medical.
In practical classes students have as its aim, the development of Matlab computer applications for image processing. For that it is available set of guidelines with objectives to be achieved. These guidelines are organized so that its complexity is increasing throughout the semester. Although the techniques of image processing applied are of general application, the working images are always medical images, obtained by different techniques.
Evaluation method
The final grade obtained with the following weighting:
40% from Practical classes. Frequency is only obtained with a rating higher than 9.5
60% Coninuous evaluation or appeal exam.
For more details of the evaluation methodology, please consult the specific document in the supporting documentation area.
