Objectives
1. Give students the skills to restore/rehabilitate degraded ecosystems, according to state-of-the-art pratices in order to achieve a requalified environment
2. Elaborate plans/projects for restoration and for monitoring the sucess of those plans/projects
3. Entertwine theory and practice, through field evaluation of implemented techniques in ongoing projects or using case studies

Introdution. Basic concepts
Theoretical aspects of ecosystem restoration and rehabilitation planning. Ambition levels
Ecosystem restoration techniques and rehabilitation planning of terretrial and aquatic/coastal sytems
Elaboration of plans/projects of restoration and rehabilitation. Legal framework
Evaluation of sucess of the implemented mesures. Case studies
Seminars will be held by experienced researchers and technicians working on the subject.
Field trips to visit on going projects are planned
