Objectives
This course aims to provide students with a general discussion of the different kinds of technologies availablefor classroom use to promote teaching and learning of mathematics. The aim is to:
Identify new educational goals that become relevant with the emergence of new technologies,
Discuss the conditions for successful integration of new technologies in the activity of the classroom,
Explore in detail the operation of each one of the technologies presented,
Identify the strengths and limitations of each technology,
Develop materials for the classroom, based on the use of technologies studied.

Teaching method
Students will be organized into groups. Each group will be responsible for the theoretical framework of a theme, managing the same discussion with other students.
Each group will be responsible for submitting / exploration of one or more technologies. It should also develop / select a set of tasks for the classroom whose exploitation can be greatly benefited by the use of technology.
The teacher supports students in preparing their presentations. Sometimes the teacher can make a prior introduction to the topic under study.
Evaluation method
Assessment will be continuous and will be based on:
- Student participation in class work,
- Presenting / exploring the use of technologies,
- The development / selection of a set of tasks to be explored, based on the use of technology.
