Objectives
To familiarize the students with the dynamics of civil proceeding and to enable them to understand the development of ordinary declaratory proceedings. To deep the concepts of civil procedure science already referred to in the Theory of the Procedure Law.
Subject matter
The course follows the fhases of the declaratory proceedings in its ordinary form. The course starts though with the allegations phase, then the management hearing, evidence and judgement. About every phase each act will be fully explained and analysed. Topics as joinder of parties and claims and res judicadta are also addressed.

Teaching method
Lectures will be based on dialogue. Seminars will focus on the resolution of exercises and on the analysis of recent case law. Students will prepare them in advance. The written resolution of exercises and the in-depth analysis of specific topics is encouraged, for possible presentation in class.
