Objectivos educativos

- Conhecimento e capacidade de compreensão a um nível que: sustentando-se nos conhecimentos ao nível do 1.º ciclo, os desenvolva e aprofunde; permitam e constituam a base de desenvolvimento e ou aplicações originais, em muitos casos em contexto de investigação.

- Aplicação de conhecimentos e compreensão, resolver problemas em situações novas e não familiares, em contextos alargados, ainda que relacionados com a Gestão.

- Capacidade para integrar conhecimentos, lidar com questões complexas, desenvolver soluções ou emitir juízos em situações de informação limitada ou incompleta, incluindo reflexões sobre as implicações e responsabilidades éticas e sociais que resultem dessas soluções e desses juízos ou os condicionem.

- Comunicar conclusões, conhecimentos e raciocínios a elas subjacentes, de uma forma clara e sem ambiguidades.

- Ter competências que lhes permitam uma aprendizagem ao longo da vida, de um modo fundamentalmente auto -orientado ou autónomo.

Requisitos para obtenção do grau ou diploma

Os Mestrados têm uma duração mínima de 3 semestres lectivos, incluindo uma parte curricular e um trabalho de projecto. O prazo máximo para a conclusão do Mestrado é de 6 semestres lectivos após a admissão ao mestrado.

Para a obtenção do grau de Mestre é necessário completar um mínimo de 102 ECTS, sendo o máximo de 120 ECTS, os quais se decompõem em:

a) Parte curricular: aprovação em disciplinas num mínimo de 60 ECTS e num máximo de 78 ECTS;

b) Aprovação no trabalho de projecto: 42 ECTS.

Em cada semestre pode ser efectuada a inscrição em disciplinas até ao máximo de 35 ECTS. Durante o semestre do Trabalho de Projecto, o aluno só pode inscrever-se em disciplinas até um máximo de 14 ECTS (full ou half courses).

As disciplinas de Mestrado valem o seguinte número de créditos:

Full courses (duração de um semestre): 7 ECTS

Half courses (duração de meio semestre): 3,5 ECTS

Seminário: 2 ECTS

Módulos de Desenvolvimento de Competências: 2 ECTS.
