The assessment will be based on the following items:
1.Oral presentation and written summary (20% of the final classification);
2.Written summary (20%);
3.Business goes to the movies (5%);
4.Participation in the discussions (5%);
5.Final exam (50%).
However, in order to pass students should have a classification equal to or over 9.0 in the final exam.
The work assignments have the following characteristics:
a)Oral presentation and written summary (1000 words max.) based on one of the texts for each practical class (team work, 2 students ´ 20% of the final grade). Further characteristics of this work will be presented in the first class. The written summary is due at the time of the presentation.
b)Written summary (1000 words max.) on another text for the practical classes (individual work ´ 20% of the final grade). Further characteristics of this work will be presented in the first class. The written summary is due at the respective practical class. The students writing these individual summaries should also contribute to the respective practical class. The quality of this contribution will also be taken into consideration to the grade.
c)Business goes to the movies (250 words max.) ´ Short review of a movie whose argument you seem adequate to discuss topics on Business History (team work ´ 5% of the final grade).
d)Participation in the discussions ´ Discussion will be open in practical classes and the forum Debate (5% of the final grade).
