Objectives

(1)realize the importance of human resources(HR) and the specifics of its management from the psycho-sociological approach (2)know the legal and regulatory framework on the HR model (3)valuing HR information systems(IS) (4)know the potential of economic and financial management (EFM) (5)know how to “read” financial statements (6)use cost accounting as management tool for healthcare organizations(HO) and budget accounting to set economic and financial objectives,  contributing to the debate of methodological cost allocation process in our country (7)characterize the importance of SI (8)apprehend concepts of exploitation of information and impact on decision-making (9)meet the hospital production process(HPP) and their IS (10)know the clinical and support IS and apply in the HPP (11)know the EFM relevance in the supply management (12)understand the processes of hospital logistics (13)understand the impact of new technologies in HO (14)transmit development lines of facilities and equipment

Teaching method

The classes will be taught through oral exposure and case studies.

Evaluation method

The evaluation is based on individual work (70%) and a practical work (30%). The details of the evaluation are presented in the first session of the curricular unit.
