Subject matter

(i) The ''state of art'' on the main theoretical and methodological issues and problems in the the field of research in the public health domain, (ii) literature search (iii) guidelines for the design of a research project: from the formulation of the initial question to  the planning of the fieldwork, (iv) major research strategies and methods and techniques for collecting and processing data, both qualitative and quantitative, (vi) presentation, discussion and communication of scientific research results, (viii) review of a scientific article and critique analysis of research protocols

Individual final evaluation final results primarily from: (i) delivery of a written research protocol in accordance with a given template  - Registration Tool, RG 120 -  or the analysis of a scientific paper, focusing on theoretical and methodological issues (70%); and (ii)   and (ii) consideration of student’s  attendance and active participation (30%).
