Objectives
At the end of the Seminar, the students should be able to:
-Identify and understand the main dimensions and characteristics of contemporary health systems and markets, the diversity of existing models, its evolution and impact on the well-being of the populations;
- Recognize the main challenges of Public Health in the world;
- Understand and recognize the main practical challenges of the public health programs in Europe;
- Be able to articulate the basics of the models and methods needed to analyse and assess public health policies, programs and related health technologies froma public health perspective;
- Recognize the state of the art of public health research in Europe;
- Recognize and discuss key research challenges and needs for public health in its relation with all levels of healthcare in Portugal;
