Objectives
-To define Health Promotion and to identify the main principles and methods underlying its practice
-To know participative planning models ;
-To know how to apply a systemic and participatory planning to a public health problem;
-To evaluate process, results and effectiveness of an health promotion intervention;
-To design, implement and monitoring an action-research project in a specific domain within a specific context;
-To know principles and methods of an effective communication (interpersonal, media, advocacy) and didactic (health education);
-To know the health behavior change theories and the environmental determinants to make for its effectiveness and sustainability;
-To know the essential components for capacity building, organizational change, management and leadership
-To identify indicators for evaluating community capacity to evaluate and manage and advocate for Health;
-To recognize the difference between paternalistic and capacity building policies;
-To be able to design a research project.
