Objectives

At the end the students should be capable of:

Iidentifying the main anthropometric characteristics used in the adaptation of involvement to man;

Know some types of physiological adaptation to requirements determined by the work conditions;

Using elements of physiological responses such as working conditions, whether from the perspective of diagnostic reasoning in either a corrective way.

Prerequisites

To be enrolled at Occupational Medicine Specialization Course

Subject matter

Anthropometry: concepts, systems acquisition of anthropometric data, criteria for application of anthropometric data in ergonomics

Motor behavior in work activity: work postures and positions;

Organization of workspaces: the interrelation worker / equipment / environment

Parameters biomechanical evaluation of the workload

Physiology of muscular work

Adjustments to the cardio-respiratory muscle work

Use of determining oxygen consumption and heart rate criteria as the study of workload;
