Objectives
At the end the students should be capable of:
– Iidentifying the main anthropometric characteristics used in the adaptation of involvement to man;
– Know some types of physiological adaptation to requirements determined by the work conditions;
– Using elements of physiological responses such as working conditions, whether from the perspective of diagnostic reasoning in either a corrective way.
Prerequisites
To be enrolled at Occupational Medicine Specialization Course
Subject matter
– Anthropometry: concepts, systems acquisition of anthropometric data, criteria for application of anthropometric data in ergonomics
– Motor behavior in work activity: work postures and positions;
– Organization of workspaces: the interrelation worker / equipment / environment
– Parameters biomechanical evaluation of the workload
– Physiology of muscular work
– Adjustments to the cardio-respiratory muscle work
– Use of determining oxygen consumption and heart rate criteria as the study of workload;
