Objectives

a) Analyze laws about the Teaching Career, school management, evaluation and class director
b) Planning different learning situations
c) Selecting and managing activities and resources for different scientific contents in order to build historical
knowledge
d) Analysing different assessment tools
e) Develop appropriate assessment tools to different learning situations

Prerequisites

Subject matter

1. Analyse the legislation about
a) The teaching career: professional rights and duties , teaching career , evaluation , training .
b ) Evaluation: framework , objectives , actors , processes and evaluation criteria , specific cases .
c ) Schoolar management : autonomy, administration and management of schools : guiding principles.
d ) Class Director : Student Statutes , regulations and internal functions of the Class .
2 . Practical planning of History teaching
. The teacher as curriculum maker
. Evaluate the educational contexts
. Establish priorities for the construction of knowledge
. Integrate scientific contents
. Organizing learning experiences appropriate to educational contexts
. Evaluate the processes
. Reflect and review the work performed
3. History teaching assessment
. How to promote self-regulated learning
. Instruments of assessment self-regulated
. Assessment methods and criteria
. Developing assessment criteria
. Objectivity / subjectivity in the evaluation

Lectures (50%) and tutorials (50%). Tutorials consist of:
. Critique of theoretical and practical documentation
. Development of lesson activities.
. Development of teaching materials to different contexts.
. Teaching units planning and assessment.

b) Individual work. Presentation of a methodology to be used in a teaching context and the relevant materials for
that/those lesson(s) (80%)
