Objectives
1) Draw up an original research project (20-30 pages), under the supervision of a tutor, containing both the state of art in a philosophical issue belonging to the chosen area of speciality and a plan for a PhD dissertation, with contents and chronogram.
2) Acquire an advanced knowledge of the methodologies and the main bibliography that are required by the mentioned plan.
3) To deepen the philosophical knowledge in the area of speciality.

1) Methodological rules of the scientific work in Philosophy.
2) The basic structure of a PhD dissertation.
3) Training of writing philosophical works.
4) Training of arguing and supporting views in the area of speciality.
5) Advanced issues in the chosen area of speciality.

Bibliography will depend on both the areas of speciality and the projects in progress.
Teaching method
Given the nature of this curricular unit, an individual follow-up work is required, depending on both the student and the kind of project he intends to drawn up.
