Objectives

It is expected that the student:
a) Be able to define the nature of the interdisciplinary approach in the History of Ideas.
b) Identify and list the themes, the sources and speeches in the History of Ideas.
c) Understand the complexity of interpretation and writing of the History of Ideas.
d) Value the specificity of multiple approaches to the History of Ideas
e) Percepcione the importance of New Stories of Ideas.
f) Analysis of the importance of ideas Stories to build a memory and a collective identity

Teaching method

Classroom sessions will include lectures about themes and issues and discussions based on scheduled readings.

Evaluation method

Students´ oral participation in class presentations and debates (30%) and writing an essay, structured as a paper (70%).
