Objectives

1. To provide students with skills enabling them to do anthropological research.
2. To promote the understanding of the most relevant interdisciplinary methods used for Intangible Cultural Heritage´s analysis

None.

Subject matter

1. Etnografia e método: formulações clássicas e desafios contemporâneos
2. Procedimentos metodológicos em etnografia: recolha, registo, escrita.
3. A vida social dos objetos: do material ao imaterial.
4. Descrição e análise dos procedimentos de recolha, descrição, inventariação, arquivo e preservação do Património Cultural Imaterial
5. Aspetos éticos
