Objectives

To provide students an understanding of the information that must be produced within the companies for the valuation of their inventories, for decision-making by their managers, and for the planning, control and performance measurement of their activities. Whenever relevant, behavioral aspects of management accounting will be also focused during the course.

Evaluation method

The students have to make a midterm in the middle of the semester (30%) and a final exam (70%) that covers all the course unit content. To pass, the student must get at least 8,5 over 20 in the final exam, and at least 9,5 over 20 as the final grade of the course.
